Ghar2Kendra by Varaxis
From the doorstep to the office that fixes it.
Ghar2Kendra connects residents, from their doorstep, to the municipal corporations and gram panchayats responsible for fixing things.
The name says it: घर से केंद्र तक, from home to the centre.
01 · Context
Fixed, and broken again.
A pothole or a blocked drain is reported, marked fixed, and reported again. Ghar2Kendra keeps the history with the place, and asks the people who live there whether the repair is real.
02 · How it works
From a complaint to a repair people agree on.
- 01
A resident reports it.
Report a problem with a photo and its location. AI suggests the category and urgency and drafts the title; the resident can change any of it.
- 02
The office responsible takes it on.
Officials triage complaints, dispatch contractors, and close each one with a photo of the repair.
- 03
People nearby confirm the repair.
A repair counts as verified only when three residents within 250 metres confirm it and a reviewer approves.
The person who reported it, the contractors and the officials can’t vote on it.
- 04
The place remembers.
Each report and repair stays with the road, drain or transformer it concerns, so a problem that comes back is linked to its last repair.
- 05
Patterns become missions.
Reports with the same cause become one mission, with the evidence, the authorities responsible and a petition drafted from it.
Follow your road, college or market, and see what affects it.

Proof of Resolution
Collecting resident attestationsA repair closes only when 3 independent residents within 250 m confirm it and a reviewer signs off. The reporter, the contractor and officials can’t vote.

Photos and GPS alone can’t prove authenticity. They are evidence, not proof.
03 · Limits
People close a complaint, not software.
- AI only advises. Closing a complaint always needs people on the ground.
- A repair counts as verified only when three residents within 250 metres confirm it and a reviewer approves.
- The person who reported it, the contractors and the officials can’t vote on it.

Early, and we’ll say so.
Ghar2Kendra is a working prototype. For now it runs on sample data.
